Altamin Limited is shaking things up with a bold new direction aimed at unlocking shareholder value and advancing its high-potential projects across Italy. With the recent restructuring of its Gorno Zinc Project ownership and a strategic pivot to its innovative Lazio Geothermal Brine Project, Altamin is positioned for potentially significant growth in the critical metals and renewable energy sectors.

The Gorno Project: Taking Full Control

Altamin is restructuring the ownership of the Gorno Project will best facilitate the realisation of value through a sale of its interest or a strategic interest in the Gorno Project or the continuation of progress towards FID to enable development of the Gorno Project.

This move eliminates constraints from its existing joint venture agreement and provides greater flexibility to unlock value.

Why Gorno is Golden

  • High-Grade Zinc and Lead Potential: Recent assays deliver jaw-dropping grades:
    • VCH017: 2.8m @ 43.2% Zn, 6.5% Pb, 68g/t Ag
    • VCH067: 2.4m @ 44.2% Zn, 10.2% Pb, 175g/t Ag
    • VCH094: 2.0m @ 40.1% Zn, 9.1% Pb, 57g/t Ag
  • Market Tailwinds: Rising zinc and silver prices, coupled with the project’s brownfield nature, enhance its economic appeal.
  • Flexibility to Monetize: Altamin plans to either sell its interest or move Gorno toward a Final Investment Decision (FID).

Lazio Geothermal Brine Project: A Game-Changer

Altamin’s Lazio Project in central Italy is where critical metals meet renewable energy innovation. Situated in Italy’s premier geothermal field, Lazio offers potential for:

  • SOP Fertilizer: Essential for sustainable agriculture.
  • Lithium Extraction: A critical component for the EV revolution.
  • Geothermal Energy: A renewable energy source to power the project itself.

Why Lazio Stands Out

  • Sustainable Innovation: Renewable geothermal energy will replace energy-intensive evaporation ponds, reducing costs and environmental impact.
  • Strategic Location: Proximity to European markets aligns perfectly with the EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act and growing demand for lithium.
  • Big Plans Ahead: Altamin is already working with a globally experienced team to fast-track feasibility studies and engage potential investors.

Strategic Direction: Balancing Immediate Gains and Long-Term Vision

Altamin’s two-stream strategy balances near-term monetization with long-term growth:

  1. Maximizing Gorno Value: Strategic sale or development toward FID minimizes dilution risks while leveraging high-grade resources and favorable market conditions.
  2. Advancing Lazio: Focused investment in this high-potential project positions Altamin as a leader in critical metals and renewable energy innovation.

What Sets Altamin Apart

  • Experienced Leadership: With decades of experience in exploration, financing, and project development, Altamin’s board is well-equipped to deliver results.
  • Skin in the Game: Directors collectively hold over 14% of shareholder equity, ensuring their commitment to success.
  • Diverse Portfolio: Beyond Gorno and Lazio, Altamin holds interests in:
    • Punta Corna Cobalt Project: High-grade cobalt, nickel, and silver potential in Piedmont.
    • Corchia Copper Project: Promising copper resources in a historic mining area.
    • Villar Graphite Project: Located in a historic graphite district with significant upside.

Why Investors Should Watch Altamin

Altamin is perfectly positioned to ride the wave of rising critical metals demand and sustainable mining innovation. With full control of the Gorno Project, an ambitious plan for Lazio, and a diverse portfolio of assets, Altamin is gearing up to deliver value in both the short and long term.

Whether you’re eyeing the booming zinc market or the green energy revolution, Altamin’s strategy offers something for everyone.
